A small, car-based fiesta van is perfect when you are moving items such as a washing machine or other household goods. These vans are designed to take a pallet onboard so their internal dimensions are approximately 1700 mm long, 1200 mm wide and 1100 mm high. This gives a load volume of 2800 mm. The maximum allowed weight of the load is 625 kg.
They are easy to drive, manoeuvre and park whilst giving adequate loading area. They are cheap to run and operate and so the daily rate price is quite reasonable.

Rental Requirements:

  • The Driver of the vehicle is between 25 and 75 years.
  • 22 – 25 year old drivers can be insured for cars, vans and chillers (not minibus) and incurs a £8 / day supplement.
  • The Driver has a FULL Driving License for over 2 Years
  • The photo part of your driving license, your National Insurance Number and the government generated code
  • The code is valid for only 30 days. Please do not generate more than 30 days in advance of hire.
  • Call the DVLA on 0300 083 0013 if you can not generate a code online or call DVLA on 0300 790 6801 and leave permission for your driving record to be checked verbally by Bishop Auckland Car and Van Hire.
  • Two forms of dated ID (not inc your license), displaying name, current address and dated within 90 days.
  • £50 compulsory deposit paid by main drivers debit / credit card.
  • The deposit will be returned on return of the vehicle.
  • The balance can only be paid by debit/credit card.
  • The first 125 miles of hire are free (excl fuel). A £10 unlimited mileage charge can be added at time of booking.
  • All vehicles LEAVE FULL and to be RETURNED FULL of fuel.
  • FULL DAY vehicle hire is 8am-8am the following day
